Cash Discount

Rising Costs have hit small businesses hard due to the constant increasing inflation rates. Our Cash discount program will place ALL of your processing fees to customers paying with a card.

By merely adding a small percentage to the original price of all your services and goods, and providing those who choose to pay with cash a discount, you can essentially eliminate all your credit card processing fees and save more money! Our Cash Discount program complies with
the requirements of Card Brand and is available all over the U.S.A.

Dual Pricing

Dual pricing is not new, we have all seen it for decades at gas stations that list both cash and credit prices. Businesses who offer dual pricing keep 100% of the cash price for every product they sell, regardless of how their customer pays. Business owners no longer have to worry about the costs to accept various payments when businesses offer two prices: a credit card price and a cash price, consumers enjoy the transparency and ability to pay with cash and save.

If they pay in cash they’ll get an itemized receipt with the cash prices, and if they don’t pay cash they’ll get an itemized receipt with the credit card prices. You simply determine how much money you want left in your bank account from the sale of each item and that will be your cash price. You enter your cash prices and the POS software will calculate your credit card prices.

It’ll show both the credit card price and the cash price to your customers anywhere you communicate prices. You will end up with the full cash price in your bank account at the end of the day. Contact O3 Merchant Services today to learn if dual pricing is right for your business.

Surcharge Pricing

The Surcharge pricing structure is the process of passing the merchant account fee along to the customer by adding a fee on top of the listed and stated purchase price for only credit cards. So at the point of sale the customer voluntarily accepts additional processing charges for the purchase and the amount to be charged cannot exceed 4 percent.

If a customer was buying something and they paid with a credit card, you would run the charge and our credit card terminal software would automatically assess a 4 percent surcharge and add it to the receipt so that it shows the surcharge in a separate line item, and you would then net the cash price. The card holder ends up paying the processing fee and you, the business owner, get to keep more of the money from the sale. However, if the customer tries to pay with a debit card or a prepaid card by law, surcharging on that purchase is not allowed. In this case, the business owner would need to pay the very minimal debit card fees. Finally, it’s important to be aware that merchant account surcharge rules and regulations require having proper signage if there’s going to be a surcharge assessed.

Here at O3 Merchant Services, we can make this such a simple process, contact O3 Merchant Services today to learn if Surcharge pricing is right for your business.

Interchange+ Pricing

Our Interchange+ pricing model is essentially our cost-plus pricing option. If you choose to sign up with Interchange+ pricing you will be charged the actual cost (the “Interchange” rate) from the card brands for every sale you process, in addition there will be a small service fee for our services.

So now you may be wondering, “What is Interchange?”. Interchange is the cost to process all of the various card types issued by the Card Brands (MasterCard, Visa, Discover, etc).

All of these different card types from the Card Brands, have their own unique  discount rate (percentage) attached to the total dollar value of a sale, along with a set transaction fee for each sale. In this process O3 Merchant will pass to you our actual costs from the Card Brands and our service fee, and give you the lowest rate possible.

Flat Rate Pricing

Eliminate the guesswork of the cost of accepting card payments with our Flat Rate pricing model. This pricing plan is a great option for small businesses are not looking to pas on their processing costs to their merchants through Cash Discount or Surcharge programs, but also have concerns about the varying rates under the Interchange+ and Tiered rate pricing options.

Let O3 Merchant take the guesstimate out by setting a single discount rate percentage and an individual transaction fee for every sale you process when your customer pays with Visa, MasterCard, American Express, etc.

Tiered Rate Pricing

Our Tiered Rate pricing model is made to make the complications of all the different card types simpler within the interchange rates issued by the Card Banks, while still being able to provide better rates on certain card types that some businesses may process more frequently.

Under our Tiered rate plan, we take all the numerous card types issued by the Card Brands and group them three “Tiers”. These “Tiers” are referred to as; Qualified, Mid-Qualified and Non- Qualified, with qualified being the least expensive, to Mid-Qualified being a bit more costly, and Non-Qualified cards being the most expensive of the three. This is where O3 Merchant comes in to set a unique discount rate that is different for every tier based on our costs, and we will set a single transaction fee that will be applied no matter which tier the transaction falls into.
